  • 79 per cent of participants aged 50 and over said they intended to get a flu vaccination this winter. 71 per cent said they had a flu vaccination last winter.
  • 77 per cent of people supported the continued requirement for face coverings in shops and other indoor public places in Wales. 18 per cent did not and 4 per cent were unsure.

The latest Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) public engagement survey report from Public Health Wales covers the period of 16th to 23rd August 2021, when 620 people were surveyed.

Every two weeks, Public Health Wales conducts interviews with hundreds of people aged 18 or over across Wales, to understand how Coronavirus and the measures being used to prevent its spread are affecting the physical, mental and social wellbeing of people in Wales.

The survey is part of a raft of measures implemented by Public Health Wales to support public health and wellbeing through Coronavirus.
