Canlyniadau'r arolwg diweddaraf i ymgysylltu â'r cyhoedd gan Iechyd Cyhoeddus Cymru
Mae canlyniadau’r arolwg diweddaraf i ymgysylltu â'r cyhoedd, sef ‘Sut ydym ni yng Nghymru?’ wedi'u rhyddhau gan Iechyd Cyhoeddus Cymru.
Dyma'r canfyddiadau allweddol:
- Dywedodd 42% o bobl eu bod yn cefnogi'n gryf y cyfyngiadau cenedlaethol yng Nghymru i reoli lledaeniad coronafeirws (30% yn cefnogi rhywfaint, 28% ddim yn cefnogi)
- Mae 71% o bobl yn meddwl mai nhw'n bersonol sydd â'r cyfrifoldeb mwyaf am eu diogelu rhag y risg o'r coronafeirws.
- Dywedodd 72% o bobl fod cyfyngiadau'r cyfnod clo a chyfyngiadau eraill coronafeirws wedi gwneud eu hansawdd bywyd yn waeth dros y 6 mis diwethaf (2% yn dweud ei fod wedi gwella eu hansawdd bywyd, 26% dim effaith).
- Dywedodd 58% o bobl eu bod yn deall y cyfyngiadau yn eu hardal yn ‘dda iawn’, i fyny o 48% yn wythnos 27.
- Mae 49% o bobl wedi lawrlwytho ap Tracio ac Olrhain y GIG. Ymhlith y rhesymau dros beidio â gwneud hynny mae peidio â chael ffôn clyfar, peidio â bod eisiau ei ddefnyddio a heb gael cyfle i fynd ati i'w ddefnyddio.
- Mae 26% o bobl yn pryderu ‘llawer’ a 37% ‘ychydig’ am eu hiechyd meddwl a'u llesiant dros y misoedd nesaf wrth i ni fynd i mewn i'r gaeaf.
- Dywedodd 75% o bobl eu bod yn teimlo rhywfaint o rwystredigaeth gyda'r cyfyngiadau'n dod i rym yng Nghymru, ac mae 61% yn teimlo ymdeimlad o ysbryd cymuned.
- Dywedodd 19% o bobl eu bod wedi bod mewn car gyda rhywun o'r tu allan i'w cartref* yn y 7 diwrnod diwethaf; dim ond hanner y rhain oedd bob amser yn gwisgo gorchudd wyneb wrth rannu car.
- Dywedodd 64% o bobl y byddent am gael eu brechu rhag coronafeirws pe bai brechlyn ar gael. Mae 33% yn credu y bydd brechlyn ar gael ymhen chwe mis.
Mae adroddiad diweddaraf yr arolwg ymgysylltu â'r cyhoedd ar y Coronafeirws Newydd (COVID-19) gan Iechyd Cyhoeddus Cymru yn cwmpasu'r cyfnod 19 - 25 Hydref, pan gafodd 602 o bobl eu holi.
Bob pythefnos mae Iechyd Cyhoeddus Cymru yn cynnal cyfweliadau â channoedd o bobl 18 oed neu drosodd ledled Cymru, i ddeall sut y mae'r Coronafeirws Newydd (COVID-19) a’r mesurau sy'n cael eu defnyddio i atal ei ledaeniad yn effeithio ar lesiant corfforol, meddyliol a chymdeithasol pobl yng Nghymru.
Mae'r arolwg yn rhan o gyfres o fesurau a weithredir gan Iechyd Cyhoeddus Cymru i gefnogi iechyd a llesiant y cyhoedd drwy gyfnod y Coronafeirws.

Results of latest public engagement survey from Public Health Wales
The results of the latest ‘How Are We Doing in Wales’ public engagement survey have been released by Public Health Wales.
The key findings are:
42% of people said they strongly support a national Welsh lockdown to control the spread of coronavirus (30% somewhat support, 28% do not support)
- 71% of people think most responsibility for protecting them from the risk of coronavirus lies with them personally.
- 72% of people said that, over the last 6 months, lockdown and other coronavirus restrictions have made their quality of life worse (2% made it better, 26% no impact).
- 58% of people said they understand the restrictions in their area ‘very well’, up from 48% in week 27.
- 49% of people have downloaded the NHS Track and Trace app. Common reasons for not having done so include not having a smartphone, not wanting to use it and not having got round to it.
- 26% of people are concerned ‘a lot’ and 37% ‘a little’ about their mental health and wellbeing over the coming months as we head into winter.
- 75% of people said they feel some level of frustration with the restrictions coming into place in Wales, while 61% feel a sense of community spirit.
- 19% of people said they had been in a car with someone from outside their household* in the last 7 days; only half of these always wore a face covering while in a shared car.
- 64% of people said they would want to be vaccinated against coronavirus if a vaccine became available. 33% think a vaccine will be available in six months.
The latest Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) public engagement survey report from Public Health Wales covers the period of 19 - 25 October, when 602 people were surveyed.
Every two weeks, Public Health Wales conducts interviews with hundreds of people aged 18 or over across Wales, to understand how Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the measures being used to prevent its spread are affecting the physical, mental and social wellbeing of people in Wales.
The survey is part of a raft of measures implemented by Public Health Wales to support public health and wellbeing through Coronavirus.
