Mechanical and Electrical Asset Survey of Public Health Wales Estate

The Public Health Wales Estates, Facilities & Safety Division have commissioned an external supplier, Sircle UK, to undertake a Mechanical & Electrical Asset Survey of the Public Health Wales Estate.

This will help the organisation in its long-term aim to have a fully managed facilities management service in place. We have chosen to undertake the surveys at this time due to current availability of the supplier and the reduced occupancy of many of the properties involved with this project. These surveys will be taking place at 17 properties from the 20 January 2021 up until the 12 February 2021, and we expect to have the asset information by the 31 March 2021.

The aim of the asset survey is to provide the organisation with the tools to pre-plan maintenance operations, know the function of each mechanical and electrical assets in relation to its usage within the organisation and to be certain that all mechanical and electrical assets are maintained to the highest standards. Knowing the age of mechanical and electrical assets will also allow for future planning for life cycle replacement.

The Estates, Facilities and Safety Division would appreciate the co-operation of all staff whilst Sircle UK undertake the asset survey on the organisations behalf. Please be assured that Sircle UK will take all necessary precautions to minimise disruption and follow COVID protocols, and have extensive experience of working with NHS Clients.

If you have any questions or concerns relating to the asset survey, please do not hesitate to contact the team at phw.Facilities@wales.nhs.uk
