‘Bron-Fwydo Mon – Anglesey Breastfeeding’
Unique in Wales, this is a GP cluster funded improvement project with the aim of increasing breastfeeding rates on Anglesey.
It offers a new model with open access to Community Lactation Specialists who are IBCLC qualified alongside opportunities for social interaction and support.
Care has been taken to identify suitable venues and to inform service users about the unique nature of the group.
A robust system has been developed to ensure excellent communication with health professionals
