Are you a Green Advocate?

Join our Internal Staff Network on Sustainable Development.

The Health and Sustainability Hub are establishing ‘Green Advocates’ - an internal staff network on Sustainable Development to enable discussion, learning and action on sustainable development at an individual level.

The Hub hopes the network will provide an opportunity for staff to discuss and embed sustainable development within our workspace and areas of work.

Meetings will be held every two to three months covering themes identified by members, to provide opportunities to translate learning into action.

First meeting – Thursday 18 March, 12.30pm to 1.30pm

The first meeting will be led by Dr Rachel Hughes, founder of Dotiau which aims to help people and organisations to think differently: not to do the same things better, but to do better things.

She’ll share her view on the impact Covid-19 has had on sustainability.  Plus, how our own individual actions and behaviour contribute to working and living sustainably.

You can join the conversation to help put sustainability into action by emailing publichealth.sustainability@wales.nhs.uk with your details to receive a Teams meeting invite.
