Week 66: 'How Are We Doing in Wales' public engagement survey results

The results of the latest ‘How Are We Doing in Wales’ public engagement survey have been released by Public Health Wales.
The key findings are:
- 50 per cent agreed that people who had had both vaccines should be able to meet each other without social distancing or wearing masks; up from 42 per cent in the last survey week. 50 per cent disagreed.
- 81 per cent of people thought the restrictions in place to manage coronavirus were ‘about right’; 7 per cent thought they were ‘too little’ and 11 per cent thought that they were ‘too much’.
- 37 per cent of people said they were following coronavirus restrictions ‘completely’, down from 43 per cent in the last survey week.
- 9 per cent of people said they were very worried about catching coronavirus and 25 per cent of people were moderately worried; up from 5 per cent and 23 per cent in the last survey week.

Every two weeks, Public Health Wales conducts interviews with hundreds of people aged 18 or over across Wales, to understand how Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the measures being used to prevent its spread are affecting the physical, mental and social wellbeing of people in Wales.
The survey is part of a raft of measures implemented by Public Health Wales to support public health and wellbeing through Coronavirus.
