The satisfaction of knowing you've played a central part in Working Together for a Healthier Wales is rewarding in itself. At Public Health Wales NHS Trust, we want all our colleagues to have the choice to work flexibly and shape work to fit their personal circumstances. To support this, we have an Agile Working Policy, Work How It Works Best, and colleagues are able to formally request a flexible working arrangement from day one of employment, including part-time hours, job sharing options, career breaks, flexible retirement and working from home where applicable.
We will also reward you with a generous benefits package, including:
Organisational Benefits
Annual Leave - You will receive a generous annual leave allowance of 28 days leave a year plus bank holidays, rising to 30 days after five years and 34 days after ten years service.
Annual Leave Purchase Scheme - Under our scheme staff can purchase up to 10 additional days of annual leave within a given financial year, to be paid back over a 6 or 12 month period through a reduction in salary.
Flexible Working - We respect that there is more to life than work and we want to make sure that we can help you get your work life balance right. The Trust offers a flexible working policy to help you balance your home and working life, including: part-time hours, job sharing options, career breaks, flexible retirement and working from home where applicable.
Work How It Works Best is our 12-month trial approach to increasing flexibility and choice for everyone, taking forward as many of the benefits we realised through working differently during the pandemic as possible. Please contact the hiring manager for more information.
